UV Printing

Invisible UntilThe Light Finds It.

UV printing creates effects the naked eye almost misses — until the angle changes. Embossed textures, metallic shimmers, and hidden imagery that appear only when light strikes. The most tactile, premium print finish available.

02

Spot UV Varnish

Selective gloss coating on specific artwork elements — logos, faces, product shots — on matte substrates. High visual contrast.

03

Raised UV (3D Effect)

Multiple passes of UV varnish build tactile elevation — embossing without a die. Braille-level texture on flat stock.

04

UV on Metallised Stock

Printing on silver or gold metallic base stock. Every ink colour takes on a chromatic metallic quality.

Frequently Asked

What's the difference between spot UV and raised UV?
Spot UV is a flat gloss varnish selectively applied to artwork. Raised UV (or 3D UV) builds multiple passes to create a tactile, embossed-feel surface with measurable height.
How does lenticular printing work?
A ribbed plastic lens sheet (the lenticular) is laminated over interleaved image strips. As viewing angle changes, different strips are visible — creating flip, zoom, or 3D effects.
Can you print on black or dark stock?
Yes. UV inks are opaque enough for white and light colours on dark substrates — something impossible with standard litho.
Is metallised stock the same as foil stamping?
No. Metallised stock is a base substrate with a metallic film. Foil stamping applies metallic foil on top of printed stock. Both are available — metallised stock gives a full-bleed chrome look.
